Use of DELU synthetic mats
In some areas of a plant the floor surface
is not useable for the air-cushion technique. In such a
case very often the use of metal sheets is recommended.
But this is only a good solution for short distances like
gaps, joints or rails. For long distances it is much easier
to use synthetic mats because they are cheaper and easier
to handle. They can be used inside and outside of plants.
Advantages in comparison with metal sheets.
- The mats are rollable and easier to handle
- They affectionate to the floor and equalize small wrinkles,
cracks and joints
- No danger of corrosion (especially in outside areas)
- For the most movements you need only two mats
- Cheaper and longer lifetime regarding metal sheets
